A DOT physical is the medical examination required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for commercial drivers. It confirms you're physically fit to operate a commercial vehicle safely. What to expect
Your provider reviews your health history and checks your vision, hearing, blood pressure, and general physical condition, along with a urinalysis. Most exams are quick. Need a school or sports physical instead? Those are $30 and include the office visit.

- Records for any managed condition like diabetes, sleep apnea, or high blood pressure, for example CPAP compliance or recent readings
